At the same time, all ATPC’s business will now come under two new names: ATPC Terminal and ATPC Refinery. The name change is effective immediately.
Since January 2014, ATPC has been making significant inroads into the petrochemicals and feedstock markets. This followed our successful certification by the Chemical Distribution Institute (CDI-T).
In order to serve our launching customer - one of the world’s leading petrochemical companies - we created state of the art vessel and train (un)loading facilities for liquefied petroleum gases (LPG). These have been fully operational for some months.
Our vision is that this is just the beginning. Not only are we located in the petrochemical centre of Europe, we also have 17 hectares of land which are ripe for development into new liquid and gas facilities.
Logistics are key to the site’s compelling proposition to new customers. It offers direct access via sea, road, rail and an extensive pipeline network. The site also boasts excellent marine and rail infrastructure, including six private rail track shunting facilities.
Since ATPC’s acquisition by VTTI in 2010, the company has seen transformational investment and a sustained period of growth and development.
Today’s announcement marks a further exciting chapter in ATPC’s long and varied history.
